Because I said much the same (albeit not as tidily) to someone the other day.
One thing about life since WWII is there's a tacit assumption that everything should be hunky-dory and if not, then we need to hunt for someone to blame. "First world problems" as the saying goes. But as it turns out, sometimes things suck and you have to make the best decision available at the time and live with the consequences of the lesser evil. And here find ourselves in this terrible pandemic during politically fraught times, making decisions.
